Day 1
Nairobi to Lake Nakuru – Flamingos, Rhinos & Rift Valley Beauty
Your adventure begins at 8:00 AM with pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, pausing for photo ops at viewpoints overlooking the escarpment. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its shimmering shores dotted with pink flamingos, as well as its healthy population of black and white rhinos. Keep an eye out for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and an impressive variety of raptors and waterbirds.

Arrive at your lodge or tented camp for lunch and a brief rest. Later, embark on your first Masai Mara game drive, where you’ll encounter a vast savannah teeming with elephants, lions, zebras, gazelles, and possibly the iconic migrating wildebeest if traveling between July and October.
