Day 1

Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Approx. 5–6 Hours Drive | Afternoon Game Drive | Bonfire & Cultural Entertainment

  • 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM: Pick-Up from Nairobi
    Begin your safari adventure with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence in a comfortable 4x4 safari vehicle or tour van.

  • 7:30 AM – 8:00 AM: Stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint
    Pause briefly to take in panoramic views of the Great Rift Valley and capture stunning photos.

  • 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Drive through Narok Town and Scenic Highlands
    Continue the journey passing through Narok Town, with chances for restroom breaks and refreshments, while enjoying views of the rolling savannah and escarpment.

  • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Arrival & Check-in at Lodge or Camp

  • 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Afternoon Game Drive & Mara River Picnic Stop
    Head out for your first game drive to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard—as well as zebras, giraffes, and cheetahs. Stop at the Mara River, the iconic site of the wildebeest migration crossing, for a scenic picnic lunch while watching hippos and crocodiles.
