Samburu Game Reserve lies on the arid outskirts of North Central Kenya. The reserve is known for its rugged and striking landscape. Its southern boundary is bisected by the Ewaso Nyiro River, which attracts animals throughout the day and offers habitats for hippos and crocodiles. Day 1
Nairobi - Samburu
Kickstart the safari from your hotel/residence in Nairobi at 7:30 am heading North through to the northern frontier district and on to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in this reserve for its exclusive game viewing You get to enjoy the final catch of the wildlife as they are out of their hides getting their dinner and sunbathing before dark, the sunset views in the reserve are also amazing at that time.

Day 2
Samburu Exploration
Have your breakfast at 0600hrs and leave the camp/ lodge with a packed picnic lunch at 0630hrs. Spend the entire day exploring Samburu Reserve which is somewhat off the beaten path, so you’ll enjoy a wild game park with fewer tourists and a lot of photogenic scenic views.
You will get the chance to spot iconic wildlife, including buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as species unique to the region such as the Beisa oryx, long-necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, Reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich. It is also home to over 450 species of birds, including the lesser kestrel, vulturine guinea fowl, and the Taita falcon.
You can depart the park in the late afternoon and head down to the Samburu villages to get a chance to experience the local culture of the Samburu people.

Day 3
Samburu -Nairobi
Embark on one last adventure with an early morning, followed by a heavy breakfast, and head over to the last morning game drive. As you bid farewell to the reserve. You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight home or be dropped off in your Nairobi accommodation depending on your drop-off request.
